A lot of investors are down on Apple after its middling earnings report last week, which included guidance that iPhone sales were starting to fall. Google’s parent company, Alphabet, even surpassed Apple to become the most valuable company in the world.
But there’s still one metric in which Apple wins: revenue per employee. The company booked more than $2 million for each of its 110,000 employees in its latest fiscal year, which ended September 30. Facebook is in second place, thanks to its relatively lean staff (only 12,691 employees at the end of 2015), and Alphabet/Google is in third.
